*  Rialto Bridge is one of the famous landmarks of Venice.  One of the few crossings of the main canal, shops line the entire bridge, and a busy pedestrian market surrounds both ends of the bridge.

* The market is a bustling place, full of stores and outdoor stalls.  You can find jewelry, glass, pashminas, scarves, trinkets, masks, hand-made soap, flowers, and of course - all sorts of delightful things to eat.  It was very crowded, but we had fun checkout out all the treasures.
