* Isla Tiberina - Tiber Island - is a tiny island in the middle of the Tiber river. It's easily within walking distance of other points of interest, and adjoins the "jewish ghetto".

*  The island has been linked to the rest of Rome by two bridges since antiquity.

Bridge Bridge
The Ponte Fabricio is the oldest bridge in Rome that is still in use. Built in 62 BC, it spans half of the Tiber River The remains of Ponte Cestio - a stone bridge from the island to Trastvere on the right (west) bank of the Tiber. It was built around the first century BC (some time between 62 and 27 BC)
